General

Is there a fee to join?
No Membership fee. You only pay for the products you order.
How will my order be packaged ?

Each delivery contains 14 items that you have chosen from our selection of 50+ products. These products will be packed into 1 or 2 Tote bags ready for you to carry home. 

Each product will be delivered in packaging with the smallest environmental impact we can find. 

Dried foods will come in food safe brown recycled Kraft paper bags that can be easily recycled in your home recycling. You can empty the foods into your own refillable containers to keep them as fresh as possible or you can keep them in the paper bags. 

Toiletries and cleaning products will come in reusable, refillable plastic bottles – once you’ve finished enjoying the products, please rinse the bottles out and drop them off in our collection points at your local community and we will clean & refill them ready for delivery. 

You will often receive products in bottles that have been refilled so they may show signs of use – we hope you agree with our philosophy that reusing plastic is far better than throwing it away and that marks showing this history of reuse can be a beautiful thing.

What happens if I forget to re-order ?

Don’t worry, with a subscription service your product choices will simply be rolled over every 2 weeks (or 4 weeks if you have chosen 4-weekly deliveries) so you’ll always get your delivery. 

We will send you reminderswell in advance of when your next delivery is scheduled to your local community to give you plenty of time to update your choices. Please see the section below for instructions on how to do this.

The reminders will be sent by WhatApp, text and email, you can of course opt out of these communications if you wish.

If you would like to receive the same selection of products you had in your last delivery there’s no need to do anything, by default we’ll deliver the same set of products to you on our next delivery run to your community. If any of your product choices are no longer available we’ll let you know so you can choose something else.

What is the substitution policy?

Ongoing challenges in the supply chain mean that even with the new Community Spirit policy in place, we may occasionally have to make substitutions to your order.

Wherever possible, these will be for products that are as close as possible to the item you ordered – such as an Organic version of a non-Organic product, or a different type of rice or pasta.

If those are unavailable too then the substitution will be an extra portion of another item in your subscription choices.

When will my order be delivered ?

The next delivery to members of the Rokesly Schools communities and other subscribers in N8 will be on Friday 17th April (Order cut-off 12th April). The next delivery to members of the St Stephen’s Primary School community and other subscribers in W12 will be on Thursday 16th April (Order cut-off 12th April). 

Orders need to be placed (or product choices updated) by the order cut-off dates mentioned above to be delivered on those dates. Thanks!

Future orders will be every 2 weeks. If you’d like to change your frequency, you can opt into fortnightly deliveries or stay on 4-weekly deliveries or even take a delivery holiday by emailing contact@weareso.co before the order cut-off time for each order.

The date of your delivery will be specified in advance and confirmed on your order confirmation email. We will make special arrangements to deal with school holidays or any other reasons why our communities may be temporarily shut.

What is your "community spirit" policy?

Our Community Spirit Policy is to help ensure everyone can get the essential products they need.

Please select no more than 2 portions of each type of core products like Pastas, Rices, multi-purpose or sanitising cleaning products and 1x toilet paper.

This is a voluntary policy and we hope you will help us to help everyone.

Where do you get your products from ?

All our products are sourced from environmentally friendly and sustainable sources. No animal testing is carried out on any of our products.

We are working hard to minimise the amount of packaging used throughout our supply chain, choosing suppliers who consider this when they are delivering to us. 

As we grow and our buying power increases, we will be able to exert more and more pressure on our suppliers to produce and deliver their products as sustainably as possible.

How Does A Dollar Shave Club Membership Work?
It's easy. Sign up for the Club to get your Starter Set and select your restock frequency here. Your trial size products will arrive in 3-5 business days, and will give you a chance to try out what the Club has to offer before we ship you full size products in your first Restock Box. You can see when your Restock Box is scheduled to ship on your Account page after signing up. After that, we'll ship your Restock Box based on the frequency selected when you signed up. For more information on how it works, check out this video.
Can I Skip A Shipment?
Yup. If you don't need an upcoming shipment, you can change your ship date from your Account page.
